We’re Bobbie and Mika, the Mother/Daughter duo behind Story’s Office Bees. With a combined 60 years of experience in office administration—spanning roles from file clerk to operations manager, bookkeeper to IT support—we’ve seen (and done) it all. After decades of working tirelessly for others, we decided it was time to invest that same dedication into our own dream.

On January 1, 2024, we launched SOB—our own business built on hard work, passion, and a shared vision for a more balanced life. Since then, we haven’t looked back.

We take pride in supporting our clients with the same professionalism and attention to detail we brought to every office we worked in—but now, we also make time for what matters most: tending to our homes, learning to grow our own food, and planning family adventures to explore even just a small corner of the world.

Hi, I’m Mika.

I started working before Google existed—and I haven’t stopped since. Over the years, I’ve grown alongside the constantly changing business world, always learning, adapting, and leaning into new challenges.

One of my guiding principles is simple: “I’ll figure it out” {Life Rule number two}. If I don’t know how to do something, I’ll learn. And if I can’t? I’ll be honest about it.

I thrive in the world of numbers and puzzels. Things like bookkeeping, data management, and administravite reorginization are my happy places. There’s real satisfaction in bringing clarity and order to a client’s business operations — and I love that I’m helping small businesses feel more confident and in control of their future.

I started working before the internet. My first job was as a file clerk—back when “filing” meant organizing mountains of paperwork in massive cabinets. Since then, I’ve grown and evolved with every industry I have worked in, always adding new skills to my toolbox.

I have a heart for helping others in my community. If I can support you on your path, I will—especially when it comes to bringing your business into alignmnet with your vision. I specialize in software implementation, use and training. I get to bring my creative passion to SOB by working on projects like logo packages, and graphic design. I love turning ideas into tangible tools that you can use in your marketing, workspace, and beyond.

The best part of Story’s Office Bees? Independence. I get to build something my way, make my own money, and sign my own paycheck.
